SECTION 1 - CARE & MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES

Care & Maintenance Guidelines

Regular Maintenance:

  • Clean surfaces with mild, non-abrasive soap and water

  • Avoid harsh chemicals or pressure washers

  • Check and clean drainage channels monthly

  • Lubricate hinges and mechanisms every 6 months

  • Inspect weather seals seasonally

  • Clean glass with appropriate glass cleaner

Seasonal Care:

Spring:

  • Check for winter damage

  • Clean thoroughly after winter

  • Inspect weather seals

  • Test all mechanisms

Summer:

  • Check UV protection

  • Clean and check drainage

SECTION 2 - WARRANTY CERTIFICATE

BLACK ROSE JOINERY 5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY CERTIFICATE

This document certifies that the above joinery installation is warranted by Black Rose Joinery for a period of five (5) years from the date of installation, subject to the terms and conditions below.

SECTION 3 - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Coverage 1.1 This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials

  • Defects in workmanship

  • Installation-related issues

  • Hardware functionality

  • Weather sealing integrity

1.2 Duration:

  • Five (5) years from installation date

  • Transferable to new property owners within warranty period

  1. Exclusions 2.1 This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Natural timber movement or seasonal changes

  • Accidental damage or misuse

  • Unauthorized modifications

  • Damage from extreme weather events

  • Improper maintenance

  • Acts of nature or force majeure

  1. Maintenance Requirements 3.1 To maintain warranty validity:

  • Follow provided maintenance schedule

  • Keep maintenance records

  • Use only approved cleaning products

  • Report issues promptly

  • Allow annual inspections if subscribed to Care Program

  1. Claims Process 4.1 To make a warranty claim:

  • Contact Black Rose Joinery within 14 days of issue discovery

  • Provide original warranty certificate

  • Allow inspection of reported issues

  • Provide maintenance records

  • Cooperate with reasonable investigation requests

  1. Remedy 5.1 Black Rose Joinery will:

  • Repair or replace defective components

  • Cover reasonable labor costs

  • Complete repairs within reasonable timeframe

  • Match materials and finishes where possible

  1. Limitations 6.1 Liability limited to:

  • Original purchase price

  • Direct repair/replacement costs

  • No consequential damages

  • No third-party claims

  1. Annual Care Program (Optional) 7.1 Benefits include:

  • Annual professional inspection

  • Preventative maintenance

  • Priority service

  • Documented care history

  • Extended support services

  1. General Provisions 8.1 This warranty:

  • Is governed by UK law

  • Represents entire agreement

  • Cannot be modified verbally
